QOD #1 :: What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment in life?
On this Mother's Day I reflect on all of the 'important things' I have accomplished in my life. Being a Mother tops the list. Now, I am also a Daughter, a Bonus Mom (Step-Mother) and Grandma, too. But I truly believe that the best thing I have ever done is become a Mom to my son. It's funny how much you can love this little piece of you that grows into it's own individual.
Being a parent is not an easy job. I know that from watching my Mom do it all these years. And I have learned a great deal about generosity, compassion and love from my her. On this Mother's Day, I want to celebrate all the Mothers out there who do for others selflessly and with love. Happy Mother's Day!
