QOD #26: Are you enough? I know I am!
Later this month I will be attending my very first BlogHer Conference. It is the 10th anniversary and the party planning is in full force. The organizers do a great job helping attendees keep up with other attendees and sponsors through regular email communications, the site and via a private Facebook group.
One announcement in particular was very encouraging and, I hope, indicative of the environment for the event. In partnership with Skype, they are building the BlogHer Buddy Group System. What a terrific way to blend alumni with newbies! Through a combination of Chat Groups and Veteran-to-Newbie introductions the goal of connecting attendees before, during and hopefully after will be fulfilled. Sign up here.
In today's email update, I also found out about this all-women band called The Mrs. These beautiful ladies will be performing - and I am definitely looking forward to hearing more. Have a listen - enjoy!
