Usually around 7pm on Sunday nights, I begin to feel a slight bit of sadness. The weekend is coming to a close and often I don't want it to end quite yet.
Do you end the weekend on a high note, or do you prefer to postpone the coming of a new week? Some people suffer from what is commonly referred to as "weekend depression" and dread Monday and a new work week. Me? I just don't want the fun to end!
The way I work to combat a slow start to my week is to join Monday full of enthusiastic lists and to-dos to accomplish. I may not always get through that list by the end of the week, but it certainly makes it easier to plan and get through most of it. So here's to starting, and also to finishing. Take that Monday!
